Eid Al Adha is for most of us a joyful time, we share feasts with our family members and give to charity. However, for the victims of war in Yemen, it is not a happy time. The situation which has been getting worse for the past 7 years, has left the Muslims in Yemen without food or even the most basic of necessities.
These people can forget about eating meat, or even chicken, as finding a roof over their head is a momentous task. A young Yemeni girl was interviewed and she mentioned that the last time she had meat was years ago. When was the last time you had meat?
Each Eid Al Adha we strive to conduct the annual Qurban and distribute the meat amongst the needy families within Yemen. We aim to give hope and share the blessings of the almighty and to remind the victims of the war that they have not been forgotten.
Distribution of Qurban Meat:
Jazakumullahu khayra for doing your qurban with us this year. Your cow and lamb meats have been distributed to the fakir Miskin, orphans and disabled in Sana’a, Rima, Hodeida, Taiz, Hajah and Marib. Alhamdulillah.
Many of you also donated for a zulhijjah FoodAid this year. Alhamdulilah your infaq has reached the poor and needy in Yemen and they were able to cook delicious meals for their family on Eid.
Jazakumullahu khayran again and May Allah accept our sacrifice and forgive our sins.Ameen 🤲🏻
